Camiel Eurlings, Dutch representative on the International Olympic Committee, has resigned following pressure from athletes and officials after he made a belated apology for allegedly beating up his then girlfriend in 2015. He reached an out-of-court settlement with the public prosecution department without admittance of guilt. In a public statement he described the incident as an altercation, according to on-line DutchNews.nl.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
