NI to consult on paid leave for DA victims

The Northern Ireland government is seeking views on introduction of a right for victims of domestic abuse to have paid leave from work for up to ten days a year.

“Once implemented, safe leave will provide an important workplace support to some of the most vulnerable in our society,” said economy minister Conor Murphy.

Interested parties have until 27 September to submit their comments to the economy department.
