The initiative follows consultation on the government’s Domestic Abuse Bill during which concerns were raised around the family courts’ response to potential harm to children and survivors, including the potential for perpetrators to “re-traumatise” their victims. The review panel will consist of experts representing the judiciary, academia and charities.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
