Hundreds use ‘Clare’s Law’ in Northern Ireland

The ‘Clare’s Law’ provisions were introduced a year ago this month. Forty people judged to be at risk have been warned about their partner’s abusive past, allowing them to make an informed choice about their relationship, the Belfast Telegraph reported.

 

At 31,000 a year, incidents reported to the police are an all-time high in the province.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
